I can sit both side...Interesting, without a doubt.<br /><br />I can sit both sides of the fence here.<br />I was a vegetarian for 26 years.......yes 26 years. My main issue at the time was animal welfare. I never truly considered health issues although I must add I was brought up on a very healthy diet.<br />Around six years ago I started eating meat and fish again.<br />I now buy meat from a local organic farm and fish from local fisherman.<br /><br />I truly believe and will always believe that if we incorporate as much fruit and vegetables in our diet and add small amounts of protein etc we should stay healthy, hopefully.<br />Of course, certain fruits are an issue for diabetics.<br />The problem is, it would appear, that many have a tasty for pastry, cakes, fatty protein, as opposed to lean protein etc.<br /><br />Food is something I think about a lot.
