Summer Days ....

As we move into the last day of July 2025, I do hope you have been enjoying summer days, or winter days if you live in the Southern Hemisphere!

Summer days can be extra special, and in today's short post I'm sharing a favourite picture of mine. It's by Don Hatfield. The print, bought many years ago, holds special memories of times and years pleasantly spent by the sea as the children were growing up.

Wishing all readers a happy day.

All the best Jan

Summer is my favorite season, and I can see why that might be one of your favorite paintings. It's just lovely, the kind of art I really love.

It's supposed to be SUMMER, but all we got so far just rain...a horrible summer. I want my sunshine!

I remember those days at the beach (far away), too. Wonderful!
This summer so far was none. Germany: So much rain, so cold. Greece, Turkey, Spain... too hot, woods on fire... just crazy.
LOL. Did you have "sandy sandwiches" back then, too? The sand was everywhere, it was SUMMER! Toes, nose, food, sand... A pain back then, a sweet memory now. Thank you!!!

Hello Linda
Many thanks for your comment on my summer days post, it is a lovely painting.
I was so surprised when you wrote that on your previous Monday post I hadn't left a comment because I can remember writing about the super selfie and lovely flowers!?
Blogger does have glitches from time to time.

Take care, enjoy your day and my good wishes.

All the best Jan

A beautiful painting! In a way it reminds me of a print hanging in my house by Harvey Dunn, "The Prairie is My Garden" which shows a woman homesteader with her two children picking flowers
