I believe the NHS is finished as far as we know it. Clearly this Government are looking to sell of any profitable parts they can. This will lead to the costly and unprofitable situations being left to a very poorly funded NHS. Second rate systems the likes of which we see in the US. OK if you have insurance or serious money, bad luck if you have not.

One of the points so many miss re. the benefits of controlling type two diabetes with diet and exercise is the very low cost. How many of the antis would still be carbing up and shooting up, if they had to pay for their medication and insulin pumps etc.

For me the best way to live is as independently as possible and become your own medic as far as type two is concerned. Who knows what will happen regarding the NHS in the future. A very sad situation for the very old or the very young. I dread to think what the situation will be for our grandchildren as time goes on.

Regards Eddie Lowcarb team memberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07961199165290289611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600659484694637338.post-5840189590374601112015-07-07T18:41:31.309+01:002015-07-07T18:41:31.309+01:00Eddie, you start this post by calling it Far more ...Eddie, you start this post by calling it Far more to worry about than diabetes. The present economic situation is very sad to see and I do wonder how many diabetics are still able to get medication they require. Do any of your readers have knowledge of this?
Regrettably it is not only diabetics who are suffering. I wish I knew how this will come to a satisfactory conclusion. Troubled times, very troubled times.

Kath ( retired HCP )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600659484694637338.post-23186541557749117342015-07-07T16:53:38.877+01:002015-07-07T16:53:38.877+01:00Two more comments troll. Blogs go a bit quiet over the summer months and your bilge helps keep the counter going forever upwards.

I have to admit, having you hang on my every word, although not exactly thrilling, does give me some satisfaction. I trust you are looking forward to my next post, just be patient, I am taking things a bit easier these days. The low carb minimal/nil meds people have won the war and that's a fact.

Am I right or am I right.

EddieLowcarb team memberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07961199165290289611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2600659484694637338.post-41933009064899491042015-07-07T15:12:09.762+01:002015-07-07T15:12:09.762+01:00To the troll.

Thanks for your countless comments (almost all deleted) you have helped us big time to get to over 1.5 million page-views. What a pity you repeat the same comment over and over again, when if you had any kind of genuine comment or valid criticism, we could have had a debate.

The truth is you have nothing to say, just a dead beat with too much time on your hands. Have you ever thought of doing something meaningful with your life?

Am I right or am I right.

EddieLowcarb team memberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07961199165290289611noreply@blogger.com
