Food? don't make me laugh!

Is It Real Cheese?

Technically, no. Because American cheese has so many additives, it is illegal to label it as “cheese” in many countries, including America. According to the FDA, when a product contains more than 51% additional ingredients, it is no longer itself. Processed cheese product isn’t cheese.

This is real cheese

More on this Frankenfood here.

Post edit. Meanwhile in the UK Sainsbury's cheese slices 11% cheese, i.e. 89% not cheese. As can be seen here.

I buy that one at dollar tree. But I just use it to wrap around medicine for my dog so she'll eat it.

You are so right about American "cheese" it's hideous, I don't know why anyone buys it.

Fascinating but I kinda figured it wasn't the best and stopped eating it years ago. Thanks for all the info. Very interesting.

Real cheese, fake cheese, it doesn't matter to me. I think it's all rubbish.

I won't buy this personally but it makes you think about what you put in your basket without thinking of checking of ingredients!
