Ten years ago some economists, such as Galbraith and Piketti, wrote some books about this topic. Those economists were right: since 2010 0.01% richer people, who live in Western countries, have become richer.
I think that the more epidemic and warfare in East Europe continue, the more richer people become richer. Sorry to say we're going back to the XVII century.

This was exacerbated when Trump gave tax credits to his cronies. Now they don't think they should pay while the poorest of the poor, the workers of the nation, are burdened with all the taxes. I am NOT laughing at this one! Hits too close to home.
