That second photo gives off such a cozy vibe and brings a smile to my face. My first drink of the day is coffee. There will be several cups of tea throughout the rest of the day :-) There's nothing quite like a good cup of hot strong black tea on a cool day. I hope your weekend is lovely, Jan.
ReplyDeleteI just love the picture with the smiling mug — so cute! I have a weakness for mugs in general, especially coffee mugs. I really have to resist the temptation of buying them in every thrift store, because they don’t fit in the cupboard anymore.
ReplyDeleteI even listed some on a Dutch secondhand site called Vintage, and I noticed the Holly Hobbie mugs are really popular — so there are definitely more mug lovers out there! Anyway, it’s the weekend, Saturday, the sun is peeking out here a little. I’m sitting behind my laptop while my husband is running a race through the forest, and I truly hope it stays dry for him.

ReplyDeleteTea is also my first cup in the morning. My parental grandfather was Welsh, and he taught me to enjoy my hot tea with milk in it. Now I drink it with or without milk.

ReplyDeleteyou too!! our "locals summers" has begun and it has been wonderful to have the area back to just us locals. the beaches lack the usual crowds and the traffic is so much lighter. i love where i live, it just gets very crowded during the summer!! we are having great weather as well!!
