4. The most popular item at Walmart is bananas. They sell more bananas than any other single item they have in stock.

The only one I knew before I started the research was number two!

ReplyDeleteI knew number two, but not the rest. Thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteHappy April, hugs, Elke
I didn't know any of these facts. I might have guessed about the bananas at Walmart though. I pick up a couple every time I go.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

These kinds of interesting facts are always good to know, and you learn something. For example, around here they say that if you dig a hole, you'll reach Australia, which is our antipodes. I'm not going to try it je je.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
...I've dug plenty of holes in my lifetime. It's the only job where you start at the top and work your way down!
ReplyDeleteGood to know Jan :-D
ReplyDeleteI didn't know any of these, except I knew there was 1 kind of bird who could recognize themselves in the mirror. Only I didn't remember it was magpies. Happy rest of your week.
ReplyDeleteInteresting facts Jan! I am surprised at Bananas from Walmart.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a happy day!
This is all new to me. I'm so glad that I gave up on digging to China from the beach when I was a kid. :)

I haven't been to Walmart in years. Had no idea that bananas was what they sold the most of.
ReplyDelete#2 is the only one I know as well. Great facts.
ReplyDeleteInteresting facts...Who knew?
ReplyDeleteVery interesting and entertaining. The reason Walmart sells so many bananas is because they are the first thing you see when you walk in the store. HaHa They don't just put them in the produce section. Smart marketing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks you for all these fun facts Jan. Thoroughly enjoyed! All the best, Denise
ReplyDeleteDear Jan, what a fun collection of facts. I have to admit, I came in knowing none of them … so I feel properly educated now 😊
ReplyDeleteThe one that really made me smile was the Walmart bananas … who would have guessed that such a simple fruit wins the popularity contest! It somehow feels fitting … nothing fancy, just something everyone reaches for. Now I’ll be thinking about banana sales and people digging tunnels across the world for the rest of the day. Thanks for that bit of delightful curiosity! Best regards from Seattle! John
I did not know any of them but what surprised me the most was Walmarts most sold item is bananas, who would have thought of that!
