Parsley : Rich in Nutrients and Health Benefits

How to Store Parsley
To best store:
Fresh parsley, you first need to remove the bottom of the stem. Do not rinse. Fill a glass or jar halfway with water and place the stem ends into the water. If you keep the plant in the refrigerator, it’s best to loosely cover it with a plastic bag. Otherwise, parsley can be kept at room temperature. Change the water every couple of days and discard the herb once the leaves start turning brown. This way, your herb may stay fresh for up to two weeks.
Dried parsley, can last in an airtight container in a cool, dark environment for six months to one year.

    Like meatballs, stuffed meatballs...
    In general, it is used a lot in Greece and is not missing from any garden!!

  7. I grow Italian parsley in my garden and therefore always have fresh one. I admit that I don't use it as often as I could, but after reading this article I think I will use it more often in my cooking.

    I am not a medical expert but it is my understanding that, while parsley is generally safe in food, consuming large amounts or using it as a medicinal remedy during pregnancy is not recommended due to potential risks. Some studies suggest that certain compounds in parsley may cause uterine contractions and potentially increase the risk of miscarriage, particularly in the first trimester.

  20. We have a parsley plant planted in a window herb garden along with basil and rosemary. We use the herbs in many of our home cooked meals. The parsley has been used in soup, scrambled eggs, neat loaf and mashed cauliflower
