Regular sex appears to be good for your heart, at least if you're a man.

"The New England Research Institute reported last year that regular sex appears to be good for your heart, at least if you're a man. Researchers at the institute followed more than 1,100 men for more than 16 years, and found that men who had sex twice a week were as much as 45 percent less likely to suffer a dangerous cardiovascular event than those who had sex once a month or less."

  2. Seriously though, this looks like the typical misleading news grabbing headline.

One of the early signs of CVD is erectile disfunction resulting from poor circulation. From this I would infer that CVD events would be less frequent in men who are ABLE to have sex twice a week.

It follows therefore, that men unable to perform the act - however keen on the idea they may be - are the very people most likely to have a heart problem.

This is the sort of statistical gymnastics that causes the nonsense about high fat to be bandied about as factual evidence.
