Home made Guacamole

So low in carbs, not worth worrying about, serves two. And the taste blows away factory produced food. Avocados are one of the healthiest foods on the planet.

Ingredients

2 medium sized avocados chopped
I medium sized tomato finely chopped remove seeds
I heaped tablespoon of finely chopped green Jalapeno peppers
I tablespoon of finely chopped white onion
One teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil
The juice from a medium sized lime
Salt and black pepper to taste

Method

Mix all the ingredients in a pyrex jug or bowl and serve, how easy is that.

  1. Looks very nice. Will have to give this a try. Are the Jalapenos hot or medium?

You could just have avocado with salad, prawns, strips of bacon.

Quick and easy and as you say very low carb.

  3. Thank your for your comment. We had this tonight served on a bed of iceberg lettuce and bacon lardons.
The Jalapenos were hot, but added a great spicy flavour to the meal.

  4. Sounds really nice eddie..Must give this a try,the supermarket Guacamole isn't great at all and not spicy enough either for my taste and probably full of added sugar because they can't resist adding the bloody stuff to everything.
