Youssou N'Dour "She Doesn't Need To Fall"

Whenever I can, I head up to the Lake District. I try to pick a place and time with few other people and cars are around. I drop the roof on the car, and put this on the stereo. Then it’s grip and rip time, driving at high speed through mountain passes is one of my biggest buzzes. Stark raving mad ? Probably. Try it some time. Eddie

  1. Tis a bit bloody daft admitting driving at speed isn't it? You never know when a copper might be reading this and report it.

  2. One of the advantages of taking a walking holiday is that sone can avoid people nearing retirement age attempting to reclaim a lost youth by driving around in their convertible wedding tackle extensions playing execrable music at volume thus ruining the beautiful sound of the countryside.

Another benefit of course is that walking burns more calories than driving does ;)

'er indoors and I have just returned from a wonderful week in Wadebridge, weather wasn't too great but we managed to average around 10 miles/day. I can wholeheartedly recommend the fish and chips at the Shipwrights in Padstow, and the pasties from the Malcolm Barnecutt bakery in Wadebridge (the saffron loaf from the same shop is also to die for)

The average fat copper that used to be a mod would never keep up with me.

'To die for' and you probably will. That's cool with me, but why are you hell bent on taking others with you ? Why the derogatory terms for your Wife. Er indoors, the dragon and the dragonet for your daughter ! You don’t drive do you . I can drive and I also do a lot of walking.

I like you Carbo, I am going to eat you last.
