For the last four audits the percentage of Type 1 diabetics with an HbA1c > 7.5% has remained at an almost constant 70%. Signs of a gradual improvement?

Accepting the argument in order to avoid hypos the NICE target figure of 7.5%. Yet the target is not met by 70% of Type 1 diabetics. Why is there no feedback study to account for such failure?

For the last four audits the percentage of Type 2 diabetics with an HbA1c > 7.5% has remained at an almost constant 33%. Signs of a gradual improvement?

Assuming these Type 2 diabetics are on diabetic medication one would surely expect a fall in the percentage of Type 2 diabetics with an HbA1c > 7.5% over four audits? Why is there no feedback study to account for such failure?
