  1. Hey guys you should show more respect to type ones according to glucosegirl!

"The type 2s here on the other hand seem to have no respect for the type 1s and what we go through everyday. We work hard too and risk a lot each day like Dead in Bed Syndrome, DKA, hypos etc. We deserve more respect."

Find this person a Dr.My HDL Is higher that her total.

    From glucosegirl at DCUK

I've read that loads of times. Don't understand though why I eat 230g carbs per day on average and my cholesterol has gone down and is now 2.5mmol (used to be 3.2mmol). Can someone please explain how this works?

2.5 is not were you want to be.

Your right Simon it's not a good place to be especially for a woman, would love to see her lipid panel!

    More here:

Relation between cholesterol levels and neuropsychiatric disorders

"It is shown that low cholesterol levels in serum are associated and related to different neuropsychiatric disorders. Lowered cholesterol levels seem likely to be linked to higher rates of early death, suicide, aggressive and violent behaviour, personality disorders, and possibly depression, dementia and penal confinement among young males. Further studies are needed to confirm the evidence currently available and to relate more accurate diagnoses with hypocholesterolemia."
