Mo Farah backs down to Borofergie in Great North Run.

Unconfirmed reports came into us today, regarding the withdrawal of Olympic super star Mo Farah from the Great North Run. The official line is “The recent birth of his twin daughters apparently and understandably proved a major disruption in Farah's half marathon training. His only race since winning the 10,000 and 5000 at the London Olympics was a two-mile victory on the track in Birmingham.” our sources tell a different story.

Evidently some of the worlds elite athletes are growing fearful of the reputation of a low carb high fat super star known as Borofergie. Fergie aka the fat man has rapidly become the thin man on a diet based on FAT ! Fergie always a good runner, but never in the elite class, realised his diet was sending him on a one way trip to the knackers yard “it was the carbs, they were slowly killing me” he stated recently. “not only physically but mentally also, they were turning my brain into 4lbs of condemned veal” Fergie credit’s the diabetes.co.uk forum for his huge turn around in fitness and his new world athletics highly regarded status.

“As soon as I joined the forum I could see where I was going wrong. It was clear to see the high carb low fat contributors were virtually glued to their chairs 24/7, they were drug dependent zombies and suffering from severe cognitive disorders. They were saying carbs were good on one post and carbs lead to their downfall on another post, when they were pulled up, they rapidly deleted their own posts, if that failed Carboholic mods came to the rescue. Jeez it was a mad house” When asked for his advice for others he said “Join the forum but whatever you do, don’t mention BOOKS the Carboholics will rip you to pieces”

Borofergie runs this weekend, we wish him luck.

At 243lbs fergie is anorexic compared to Carbo ! Think Lennox Lewis no blubber when at that sort of weight and solid muscle.

  10. Thanks Eddie - managed to run 2:24:36.

Not bad for a fat man! (Especially one that weighed 310lbs a couple of years ago).

I wonder what time Farah would run if he carried a 100lb backpak?

I buy it from Tescos (ClubCard points yay!) and use it for cooking and sometimes eating raw as pre-running rocket fuel."
