Great Mid-week food. “Bangers and Mash”

Some readers will know that this dish is one of my/our favourites. Never tire of eating those lovely low carb sausages (bangers) and that lovely tasting buttery mashed celeriac, although swede can be used if preferred.

But you just can’t beat this delicious low carb food. Sausages too can be slightly cheaper than certain cuts of meat. However, one word of caution if you do count your daily carb intake always read the label  or check with the butcher how much rusk and non meat are in the sausages that you are just about to buy. I tend to buy mine/ours from a well known supermarket beginning with ‘S’ and they contain 97% pork meat.

Now I could say this dish goes well with a nice glass of rioja but guess water would go with it just as well? Your decision.
