Thanks for all the help my friends !

Thank you to all the people that read and comment on our blog. Thanks for all the emails, phone calls from friends and DCUK members over the last few days. Mission accomplished, until the next time, and there will be a next time.

Jan and myself have been away for a few days, down to our family on the coast. We are back and there will be more posts to great grub and recipes, more links to diabetes and low carb news, more fun and games.

I am hoping we can get to one million page views. This is no big deal in itself, but if I am still around, I have some plans to progress the low carb high fat cause further. Never stop telling your good news, post the truth at every opportunity, every post makes a difference, someone, somewhere, will read it, and you may well change their life. Never forget, diabetes can be a life sentence, not a death sentence. Control your diabetes and live a long and active life.

If we have helped one diabetic, per hundred thousand page views, that's very cool with me, how often can ordinary Joe's put years on someones life?

May the force be with you ! You know it makes sense, why fight it ?

Eddie

  1. Absolutely echo what Eddie says ...but remember you don't have to be a diabetic to get the fantastic health benefits that a low carb, high fat, moderate protein eating lifestyle can bring. Just add some exercise and a good sleep pattern to it.

    The choice is yours.

    All the best Jan

P.S. Always remember if you should have any underlying health issues these must be taken into account, should you change your diet and lifestyle.

  5. Surely,
Many, many thanks to, in no special order, to Sarah69, Cherub, Phoenix, Carbophile, Sid, Nobhead, Ally, Ken (in his many other worldly non-fat egos), Karen ... well you know the sequence. To others if I have missed you I'm sure we'll be posting again.

To you all I raise my glass, I find myself unable to underestimate your intelligence.

  7. Does the soap opera continue? The soap opera that is the inter-web?

It can be better than Eastenders sometimes, the unfortunate thing is this is real life and you need to be able to tell the difference.

There are those that help others like this blog, there are some who do not.

We need to be savvy, keep sharp.

    More to come?
