This months Golden Gezza Award goes to Phoenix !

"Most people aren't elite athletes. Having a glycogen reserve may not matter if you have no need to make a claim on those reserves. Others who enjoy sports might be more competitive and others may have jobs that demand instant energy in their daily lives.  It isn't a question of fat or carbs for everyone, many of us have need of both."

Phoenix at the flog.

Yeeh, the forum has so many elite athletes it's amazing. For most of 'em pushing a computer mouse around is heavy duty exercise.

She of the 50% plus carbs of daily calories and an insulin pump working flat out!

That old carbs and meds pusher never gives it a rest! I reckon she can make more use of the Golden Gezza than some of the previous recipients. Burn that glycogen baby, give that pump a work out!

Jesus, do these meds guzzling carboholics ever give up?

Politically correct! what's that all about?
