DCUK More Quotes of the week so far !

"You still have to have portion comptroller whether it's high carb, high fat-whatever....

I personally think high of anything kills....low of anything kills. Moderate of everything is ok. Enjoying eating everything in proportion, having treats and enjoying a life of eating is so much better than yo yo dieting."

And

"100 ml of any fruit juice or smoothie is allowed everday for a type 1... Dont understand why your daughter cant have this, unless its alchohol? Again, in moderation your daughter could have alchohol..

Nothing is truly off limits to anybody if you know portion control,,"

donnellysdogs on the flog today.

Sounds cool eh ? How about for most diabetics ? no way I'm afraid, guess what, 'dogs is another type one with insulin and a pump that can wind on a few units when he has 'everything' in moderation. 30 years a diabetic and appears to know nowt. Has this guy gone to the dogs ? We need to be told !

Perhaps he can tell us why 93% of UK type one diabetics fail to get to a safe HbA1c. Only asking.

Post edit.

I have just read 'dogs is a size ten, unless he is a transvestite I have been talking about a Woman, that explains a lot, agree ? Heading for the lead lined bunker.

  1. This from Donnellydogs today:

"My plate size is a side plate for my main meals and I hate water but will drink it afterwards if I am still thinking I am thirsty. Apart from that I will have fruit."

Eh??! Who hates water? Why would anyone think it worthwhile posting online to say 'I drink water when I'm thirsty' as if that's some astonishing behavioural breakthrough, and then the fruit bit? Does fruit now not contain any nutrition like water?
