Report on the recent debate at the National DUK conference.

From the Southport GP at the forum of flog DCUK.

"Apparently it is time that we stopped advising people with diabetes to eat carbohydrates !!!!! Amazing debate and 'we' won 70:30 Trudy Deakin was inspired and gave a great talk - including a positive mention of all you low carbers on this site !, There was even a slide of one of Sam JB posts in front of hundreds of people at the National DUK conference . Another slide featured my work so I'm dead chuffed. Such an exciting day The emphasis of Trudy's talk was educating about diabetes so that then people can have a better idea of the diet that suits them personally YES I AGREE"

Day after day, hour after hour the low carb good news never stops. I'm luvin it.

  3. Whilst we rejoice at this growing age of enlightenment, I suspect the antis will continue to take their dogma to their graves. Literally.

  7. Junk food and big pharma will throw $billions at keeping the big gig alive.

But ! we are on the march, millions of people all over the world will never be fooled again.

Keep telling your good news, people believe people, they do not believe junk food and big pharma.

  8. So
    What's the answer?
I must admit, I don't actually have any clear picture here?

By Douglas99 who after two and a half years is still a novice (wearing L plates) at diabetes control.
