Why low GI diets don't work for most diabetics !

This is a must watch for diabetics and illustrates why a low GI diet does not work for most diabetics. I believe Low GI is a minefield of confusion. After watching the video I think you will agree. What a coincidence I post this video up again just as the Carboholics at the flog are waxing lyrical about low GI LOL. Eddie

  1. You need to link the offending threads in the future, it would be easier than searching for them. I did find it and its the usual crew of low fat specialists slanging the low carb diet in the low carb forum like someone else mentioned. D99, what an individual he is, I wonder what his real issues are? The only other like him is that Sid clown.

  2. DCUK Have banned me from reading the forum, I access the forum via proxy server and the links copied by me, would only take you to the proxy server.

I will get others to post links in future where possible.

He is like the rest of his low carb anti ilk on the forum, sad negative individuals, with a massive chip on their shoulders.

  4. In his other persona his pomposity made him the subject of much ridicule. This plus the rapid disappearance of posters to his forum have left him with a massive (low fat) chip on his shoulders.

  6. I tried GI, found it very confusing and it didn't make any difference to my levels....if anything they were worse. LCHF is simple, no nonsense, straight forward common sense.

Couldn't agree more Sue, the GI index is a minefield and can be be completely confusing to the newly diagnosed T2 diabetic.
