My friend Libby known as Wiflib on the UK diabetes forum scene, recommended this track to me. Libby earns a living as a Midwife. Just over six years ago, she was diagnosed as a type two diabetic, around the same time as me. We have a lot in common, we were born on the same date, type two diabetes complications killed our Fathers, but Libby is much younger than me. Following a low carb high fat diet, she swiftly lost over a hundred pounds in weight, and most importantly, she has maintained the weight loss for over five years. On no medication she holds HbA1c in the mid fours, non diabetic, and the lipid numbers of a teenage kid.
