  1. You couldn't make it up could you?!!!!

The other day there was a Diabetes UK stand at a local supermarket. I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw them giving sweets to children! Not only that when a little boy asked for more, he was given a handful!

PS. Eddie - I'll be in touch when I get a minute.

  2. There is nothing , even the diabetes epidemic, can convince people that some foods are better to avoid entirely.

  4. Last year Tesco in the UK supported Diabetes UK.. I had some interesting-but-not-very-nice conversations with the people collecting by the door, all of whom seemed utterly ignorant of any kind of common-sense approach to dietary restriction "Oh, no, you can eat anything" I gave up after a while.. I note that this year the Heart Foundation is the chosen charity.. This seems like a Logical Progression, I suppose..
One week the DUK ladies (all of whom were miserable and rather unhelpful), had a raffle for a huge hamper of biscuits, cakes, tins of fruit etc.. When I refused to buy a ticket, as I could not eat the contents, they were mystified..

  5. Thanks to you all for stopping by to comment. It's always good to read and exchange thoughts.

Great to see you on our blog Helen .... yes many are mystified. It's funny how people can more easily accept not having sugar in say a cup of tea or coffee but they are happily eating cakes !! ??

As I so often say onwards and upwards spreading the LCHF lifestyle to those who want to hear.

    Thanks again to all

    Take Care and .......

    All the best Jan
