  1. Don't know who said it but if it's got an ingredients list don't buy it.

  3. Hi Mrs Vimes
    Many thanks for your comment.
I think there are many who would echo your sentiments here ..."Don't know who said it but if it's got an ingredients list don't buy it."

  4. Excellent! Weeding, hoeing, and watering and waiting for my "real food" to arrive. I say that because even that which we purchase at the grocery store has been sometimes treated and handled by many hands before it reaches our kitchens. I love summer and grocery shopping in the backyard :)

  5. Hi Connie
Yes, you really can't beat home grown foods / vegetables grown by you in your own (garden) 'backyard' ... and they just taste so good don't they. Well worth the 'weeding, hoeing, and watering'

    Many thanks for your comment

  6. Ain't that the truth?? Gotta watch for pesticides and stuff but here we grow organically.

I sure made a major typo, Jan, on the post with my baby pictures. I do know I'm NOT a boy. I can't believe I typed the most important thing incorrectly. I wanted to be a boy because Dad was more fun, I think. I could climb trees and not button my shirt...then I began to grow up.

So far I can back track and find some things I've lost but there a few items that are still missing.

    Have a very blessed week.

    Yes it is "So true!!"
You just can't beat fresh foods can you and preferably organic, although they will be a little more expensive!

  10. Hi Gail
Many thanks for your comments here and I agree if you can get organically grown vegetables they are the best!

Regarding your blog posts, which I love reading, and always enjoy the mix of subject ...including those old photo's which were were great.
I had realised you'd made a typo error, it's so easily done, but I knew what you meant and of course you've now corrected it.

    My good wishes

    All the best Jan

  17. Yeppers. I agree. And since I don't eat ready-meals or like-foods, I never have to read prepackage food labels. It's heavenly.
