Diabetes UK diet good for us: You decide
This is day one of a 1800 cal weight loss diet for us diabetics, a definite no no for those of us equipped with a blood glucose meter and many aren't so lucky and blindly follow the guidelines
It's the world gone mad. Heck I'm not a diabetic (would have been had I not changed to low carb) and I feel bad if I have a high carb day of about 100g.
i seriously miss closeness to nature and physical activities from the life of my children but find little relived when we visit to our village my both boys enjoy the natural environment of village instead of staring at screen . thank you for your wonderful post
Surely blood glucose meters are an essential for diabetics?
Sadly self monitoring of BG is actively discouraged for Type 2 diabetics, I was one of the fortunate ones provided with a test kit on diagnosis most don't get that option, the small percentage that find their way onto diabetes forums usually end up self funding which can be expensive

If we were burning 4000 C per day, it "might" be OK, as the remainder would be fats from internal sources.
Surely blood glucose meters are an essential for diabetics? Ted
OMG.
It's like they're trying to kill people!

A nice diet plan not only for diabetics.
A hug and good week.
Baili - I think you intended your comment to go on Jan's post "The Mental Health Benefits of A Simple Childhood" it has been copied there.
