If we were burning 4000 C per day, it "might" be OK, as the remainder would be fats from internal sources.

ReplyDeleteIt's the world gone mad. Heck I'm not a diabetic (would have been had I not changed to low carb) and I feel bad if I have a high carb day of about 100g.

Sadly self monitoring of BG is actively discouraged for Type 2 diabetics, I was one of the fortunate ones provided with a test kit on diagnosis most don't get that option, the small percentage that find their way onto diabetes forums usually end up self funding which can be expensive
