Leonard Cohen R.I.P.

Sadly another legend passed away on Monday aged 82

A statement on his official Facebook page said: "It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist Leonard Cohen has passed away.

"We have lost one of music's most revered and prolific visionaries."

  1. His talent will be treasured for centuries to come, but sad that there will be no more stories to sing . . . for that is what I loved about his lyrics, "the story telling."

  2. He will be missed. I had just listened to an interview with him a few days before. It was on NPR and he has a new album, which I added to my wish list.

  3. Losing Leonard Cohen is like 2016 kicking us one more time. I've been listening to his music again all week. Our comedy and political satire show "Saturday Night Live" opened with the woman who played Hillary Clinton sitting at the piano. She sang Hallelujah. When she finished, she looked out and said (in her Hillary voice) "I haven't given up and neither should you." Very moving.
