Fruits and vegetables come in all the colours of the rainbow, and I really enjoy eating them. Not only do they taste great, they are nutritious and help make your plate look so colourful. I thought to myself, choose a colour and then name five of your favourites, so here goes ...

ReplyDeleteThere's five. I don't like radishes although mum once told me I used to when I was very small, I would pull them up from mum's garden and chomp on them while playing.
...colorful and good!
ReplyDeleteThat would have to be bing cherries for me! Or maybe watermelon.
ReplyDeleteMine- tomatoes, raspberries, strawberries, red peppers, and radishes. :) Fun!

Red always adds that touch of color to most meals and is pleasing to the eye however, for me personally, red veges give me digestive problems so I shy away from eating them, especially tomatoes and red peppers. Great as a garnish though.
ReplyDeleteColourful and tasty! The only one I'm not familiar with is the Radicchio. I'll look it up.
ReplyDeleteBought radishes yesterday. Part of my post sometime today... : )
ReplyDeleteI love watermelon!!! beets - beet juice with carrots and apples; strawberries, tomatoes and... radishes in a potato salad with walnuts!
Tomatoes, peppers, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, red cabbage...apples
ReplyDeleteHello, everything looks delicious and colorful. I am not a fan of radishes. Happy Monday, Enjoy your day and the new week ahead!

ReplyDeleteI love radishes sliced thinly in salads.
ReplyDeleteThis evenings meal will contain red pepper, I only wish I had some raspberries for afterwards.

ReplyDeleteHello Jan, I love redcurrants and cherries best of all, although I would never say no to a strawberry.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
I know I'm supposed to be eating a lot more of the veggies you mention, but I admit that I'm totally addicted to raspberries and strawberries. They taste so yummy, and actually stop me from eating all the other things I'm not supposed to be. (lol) Hugs...
ReplyDeleteI love 'em all, and let's not forget the beets!
ReplyDeleteWell, I like cherries but I only eat them cooked. Raw fruit makes my gums swell up!

ReplyDeleteStrawberries, Green peppers, Spinach and Romaine lettuce are in my diet quite often :)

ReplyDeleteAt the moment we are buying lots of cherries while they are in season. The kids love them too. Scottish strawberries too. And of course red chilli pepers and red kidney beans, paprika and toamtoes in a chilli. Lots of good reds there.
ReplyDeleteAlmost forgot - red wine!
Thank you Jan!! Great post! Big Hugs!
