Perhaps the right mixture helps - keep moving, go out, but use the internet to keep in touch, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWell, you already know my routine...gym three mornings, Tai Chi twice a week, kayaking in good weather...internet is "when I have time"...like now with early AM coffee...:)JP
ReplyDeletesurprised to see india at the top because a big section is not connected. then noticed it was an online poll ie.poll among people already connected. also india has a large young population. they feel uneasy when they can't get online.
ReplyDelete...it's harder everyday.
ReplyDeleteWow...Canada didn't even make the list. Confirms my suspicians that we really don't exist.
ReplyDeleteHello, I remind myself everyday to move more! Enjoy your day and the week ahead!
ReplyDeleteSomething to think about!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm glued to the Internet way too much and need to do more moving around. Great reminder! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't think India per se to be so tech savy
ReplyDeleteNo Australia either. Sadly we are addicted too. My time off line is valuable - and there should be more of it.
ReplyDeleteGood advice. I walk everyday and cut back my time on the internet about 2 months ago and I love it.
ReplyDeleteLots to see, and do, and then blog about. :-)
ReplyDeleteYum! Sadly, I cannot put arugula in our meals!!!!
ReplyDeleteI accidently dropped my phone in the toilet and it totally fried my phone, I went an evening and the whole next day and by the 3rd day morning we decided it was time to get me a new one, hubby missed being able to text me at anytime and I check news and text with our daughter and friends, it felt like I wasn't connected anymore, I know that isn't the internet but it is weird how easy you can get dependant on things
ReplyDeleteWell, at least I stand at my computer station when I am on the internet and I am often doing lower body exercises during my browsing and chatting too. I am a severe multitasker.
ReplyDeleteYou are right! We would be much healthier!
ReplyDeleteYes, I need to limit my time on Facebook. But I grew up with no internet and I could certainly live without it.
ReplyDeleteI honestly try not to be on the internet all the time! So happy Canada isn't on this list!
ReplyDeleteSurprising stats there. I imagined Japan would be top of that table. On the whole the Internet is a force for good - education, communication although I do agree we should not overuse it. By the way the school holidays are finished but I never seen so few kids out playing etc. Are they all on the Internet and/or watching telly all day?
