Where People Can''t Live Without The Internet.

Have you ever wondered, how fit and healthy you could be, if you spent less time on the internet and more time exercising? I have. When I tell youngsters old timers like me survived very well before the internet and smart phones, they look agog. One thing for sure, I've got to get out more.

  1. Perhaps the right mixture helps - keep moving, go out, but use the internet to keep in touch, too. Hugs, Valerie

  3. surprised to see india at the top because a big section is not connected. then noticed it was an online poll ie.poll among people already connected. also india has a large young population. they feel uneasy when they can't get online.

  8. No Australia either. Sadly we are addicted too. My time off line is valuable - and there should be more of it.

  9. Good advice. I walk everyday and cut back my time on the internet about 2 months ago and I love it.

  12. I accidently dropped my phone in the toilet and it totally fried my phone, I went an evening and the whole next day and by the 3rd day morning we decided it was time to get me a new one, hubby missed being able to text me at anytime and I check news and text with our daughter and friends, it felt like I wasn't connected anymore, I know that isn't the internet but it is weird how easy you can get dependant on things

  13. Well, at least I stand at my computer station when I am on the internet and I am often doing lower body exercises during my browsing and chatting too. I am a severe multitasker.

  15. Yes, I need to limit my time on Facebook. But I grew up with no internet and I could certainly live without it.

  17. Surprising stats there. I imagined Japan would be top of that table. On the whole the Internet is a force for good - education, communication although I do agree we should not overuse it. By the way the school holidays are finished but I never seen so few kids out playing etc. Are they all on the Internet and/or watching telly all day?
