...with bacon, it has to be good.
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious!
ReplyDeleteBacon pieces enrich the taste of any salad and add the much beneficial protein to it. Broccoli is the "herb of God" as it is packed with so many nutrients. The salad looks very good on the above plate.
ReplyDeleteI totally adore everything about this recipe!!! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteI'd have to leave out the onion for my wife who hates flavor.
ReplyDeleteMaybe switch for pickled green beans?
I have never made this salad.
ReplyDeleteIt looks good.
Sounds very yummy and since the temps sadly went down I´ll try this warm next week, thank you for the great receipe, Jan!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds wonderful! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI add crasins and nuts to mine. It's one of my hubby's favorites.
ReplyDeleteI do broccoli salad much like this but have never added cauliflower, what a great idea! My husband will love this one.
ReplyDeleteOh this would be great! I make something similar that just has the broccoli, no cauliflower. I think the cauliflower would really add some wow to it. I will try this out.
ReplyDeletePretty salad, leave out the bacon.
ReplyDeleteTodo muy ssaludable. La parte que menos me convence es la del tocino, por su aporte de grasas.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Oh I'm going to have to add bacon to my broccoli salad recipe. That sounds good.
ReplyDeleteBacon afficianardos believe everything is better with bacon. This salad would float my boat without it. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'd go for that!
ReplyDeleteI´m no fan of eating broccoli. But I don´t mind using them in photos :)
ReplyDeleteI love cauliflower! I have one in the fridge right now! xo
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me!!
ReplyDeleteYum, my kind of salad! ♥
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah. Sounds so good!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, I've just made cauliflower soup..
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so good. I make something similar with sunflower seeds and apples added. Bacon in a salad is always a treat.
ReplyDeleteTiene que estar buenísimo. Saludos.
ReplyDeleteThese are two vegetables that I like the best - broccoli and cauliflower.
ReplyDeleteMuito importante uma alimentação saudável.

ReplyDeleteHave a happy day!
that sounds interesting, a nice idea for a hot day.
ReplyDeleteAnother yummy one.
ReplyDeleteI reviewed a cook book for diabetics. I passed it on to my client. She has it, just going on the needle, a daughter and SIL, and another daughter or two has it, as well. It's all in the cooking. You do good work here.
Love!!! Thank you Jan!
ReplyDeleteYummy and so healthy ~ love this recipe!

I actually made this recipe and didn't care for it. Nor did anyone else in my household. On top of that, it didn't look anything like the picture.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the sour cream. Unless you really love sour cream, I'd pass on this one.

Hi Steve, many thanks for your comment and feedback.
I always think it good to try out recipes, and of course what one person may like another one will not. Although sorry it didn't turn out like the picture!
Yes, this recipe does use sour cream for the sauce, and if you are not a lover of it, I can understand …
