Yes, it's Tuesday, but do you often feel Tuesday's can be a funny day? It's the day after Monday and the day before mid-week, whereas, Thursday's can feel completely different, because for many it's almost the end of the working week!
But, no matter what day it is, and whatever I have planned I always have time for a nice cuppa. My first choice would be tea, but yours might be coffee!
of course if you were to call around,
I would offer you a slice of low carb fruit cake
please see recipe details here

and yes, if your choice were tea, I would make sure I'd made it the perfect way
although I do make a good cup of coffee too!
Thanks for having a cuppa with me,
Thanks for having a cuppa with me,
I hope you enjoy the rest of your day
All the best Jan
It's only over the last couple of years that I've started drinking tea, and I don't drink coffee at all. Don't mind a slice of cake though!
ReplyDelete...fruit cake has never been favorite.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI would like the coffee or tea. I am not a fan of fruit cake. Wishing you a happy day and a great new week!
I only started drinking herbal teas, but in that short time I've grown to love them. Sipping on some Buttermint right now.
ReplyDeleteI've just forwarded the fruit cake recipe onto a good friend of mine who is on the Keto diet. Thank you on her behalf. :)
ReplyDeleteI do love a good cup of tea. It is not easy to find loose tea around here and when we do it is super expensive! Eventually we would love to make some homemade tea from herbs we grow.
ReplyDeleteSo good to have a cuppa with you, Jan...and that cake...oh wow does it sound delicious!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this brilliant post. I really enjoyed...plus, I now know how to brew a proper cup of tea!! :))
Have a super day xxx
I am a fan of fruitcake and a cuppa would be so nice. Happy T Day
ReplyDeleteMy choice is definitely coffee, but I like the look of that cake! You asked about how many steps I do - I have 10000 set as minimum in my tracker, but mostly it's a lot more, my average last week was 18000 each day. Valerie
ReplyDeleteNothing nicer than a good cup of tea and a slice of cake.
ReplyDeleteHaving my coffee right now:)
ReplyDeleteYes, please! I'm going to look for the cake recipe! Thank you.
ReplyDeletexoxo
sounds good!
ReplyDeleteHi There, I'm drinking a cup of hot tea right now!!!!!! My hubby taught in China a long time ago --and learned to LOVE hot tea. I had never enjoyed it much until I met George.... I LOVE it now...
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy
I don't like coffee so I would take up your offer of a cup of tea, in a china cup, with a slice of cake.
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee I do drink tea though. I use tea bags though.
ReplyDeleteI am sipping a cup of chai tea as I read this - but would happily join you in another. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSoy más de café, que de té. lo tomo en el desayuno y en la merienda.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Many thanks to you all for your comments so far …
ReplyDeleteFor those who are not keen on fruit cake how about a slice of lemon cake?

@Valerie, many thanks for answering my question about the number of steps you do (I did also thank you on your blog)

Google translate:
I'm more of coffee than tea. I take it at breakfast and at lunch.
Kisses
I'm a tea fan, although I'm the lazy tea drinker, just a quick teabag topped with boiling water for a few seconds.xxx
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a cuppa with you!
ReplyDeleteI do go for tea.
ReplyDeleteOh! that looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteCoffee and a slice of fruit cake please. I love fruit cake and nobody in my family now and when i was growing up liked it.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a cup of coffee as I write this..A friend got me hooked on coffee and I've tried several times to go back to tea..It just seems so blah compared to coffee..Not as hearty?? Strange aftertaste too..Enjoy your week..
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a cuppa with you and a piece of the cake. : )
ReplyDeleteOnly a tea drinker myself, never did like coffee.
I am not a hot tea drinker but I love my iced tea. I however will drink it from time to time in the winter but not often. Here in the south USA we are iced tea drinkers mostly.
ReplyDeleteWow your fruitcake recipe sounds delicious-I pinned it so I could find again. thanks
ReplyDeleteTea and cake sounds great. I'll be right over! :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a cuppa with you too!The cake looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteI don't drink coffee or hot tea, but I do make black ice tea that I drink every day
ReplyDeleteI'll have a cuppa coffee, please, and a piece of that fruit cake!
ReplyDeleteI only drink tea, but no milk on the tea for me!
ReplyDeleteLove Fruitcake so will look up that low carb recipe. Thanks Jan.
Not sure why certain day feel like a certain day. Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteTea here, too - though it is said a cup of coffee a day is healthy.
ReplyDeleteI prefer coffee, thank you. In the states, most people don't use cream, but prefer either sugar, lemon, or both.
ReplyDeleteI may pass on the fruit cake (well, just a little slice please-I have no will power!!), but I am glad I know the perfect way to make tea now. Can I have mine without milk though?
ReplyDeleteI never drink hot drinks. The few times I do drink hot chocolate, I must drink ice water afterwards to keep me from feeling ill.
ReplyDeleteJay Leno said he did not understand drinking hot drinks! Same here.
I had a "breakfast bread" that had dried nectarines chopped. It sounds similar to the fruitcake here. It was not cloyingly sweet like traditional fruitcakes.
I'm a tea drinker but usually only one a day - remainder of the day water.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan! I love tea and I love fruit cake! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your teacup, Jan!!!! I’d love a cup of tea, and a slice of that delicious looking fruit cake.
ReplyDeleteI’ve copied the recipe down and can’t wait to try it! I would love a cuppa with you!
