Marina welcomes 'newest berth holder' Swan Jovi
A swan has built a nest at a marina in South Devon, UK.
The bird, which has been nicknamed Swan Jovi, created a nest on a jet ski pod in Torquay Marina. The marina said the swan became its "newest berth holder" earlier this week and had laid three eggs.
It said staff were "keeping an eye" on the swan and advice from charities and vets was to "let her be".
Hopefully they do let her be.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely story! I am so glad they are leaving Swan Jovi be (love that name) until she and her brood have hatched. I was in Torquay when I met my husband, worked in the town for several years. This story brought back memories. Thanks Jan and keeping good thoughts for the welfare of Bon Jovi and family.
