Angie's Low Carb Bread Recipe

Angie shares some lovely recipes on her site and today I bring you details of her low-carb bread with cottage cheese that you may wish to make. She says, it is not only full of healthy nutrients, but is also incredibly tasty. The special thing about this bread is that it is not only low in carbohydrates, but also very high in protein thanks to the cottage cheese! But hemp seeds are also a true nutritional wonder with healthy fats, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and even have an impressive 31 grams of protein per 100 grams. They also add an intense nutty flavour to the bread. Doesn't it look good 😋

  10. With healthy fats and 30% protein, that's great! Cottage cheese can be found also here in Italy, but with a different name, as it's called "fiocchi di latte". Most common brand name is Jocca, which is available in many towns.

HERE IS SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT HEMP HEARTS

    i) Hemp hearts have a higher amount of protein and oil as compared to raw hemp seeds. Hemp hearts are considered a complete source of protein because they contain all 20 amino acids, 9 of which are essential and two of which are semi-essential.

ii) Hemp hearts do not have CBD oil in them as we know it. At least not in any appreciable amount. They may contain tiny traces of CBD, as does every part of the hemp plant, but it is in such low levels that it is usually considered as “not detectable” in laboratory tests.

iii) more about the health benefits (and potential risks) of hemp hearts can be seen here

iv) if you cannot buy hemp hearts locally try online from a trusted seller
