Hey Jan. Happy Autumn Day to you. This week here though, we are full-on winter mode. Lots of pretty snow, though supposed to get warmer the rest of the week. Happy Stew and Soup Making!

Jan - that teapot is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the setting of the photo.

And I think that quote is pretty darn close to perfection, except I would substitute stitching for a book!

Your recipes (as always) sound so appealing!

Tea is on the way and Ingo made beef noodle soup, which waits on the balcony :-)

And I like the sound of the pumpkin stew. I might try it as a change from my usual curry. Thanks, Jan. Xx

Bule lindíssimo. A maior parte do Brasil está na primavera e só uma capital está no outono, a cidade de Boa Vista no Estado de Roraima. As sugestões de alimentos são maravilhosas. Grande abraço carioca Jan.

Beautiful teapot. Most of Brazil is in spring and only one capital city is in autumn, Boa Vista in the state of Roraima. The food suggestions are wonderful. Big hug from Rio, Jan.

That teapot is so cute.

Speaking of the Pumpkin Stew, if you ever want to deepen the flavor, try roasting the pumpkin first instead of just boiling it. It caramelizes the sugars and adds a whole new dimension to the stew. I'm totally trying that pork casserole soon.
