To the farmers who provide and to those who have gardens and grow some food. And to my Mum who got the strawberry-plants from the woods with me when I was two years old and that made it all the way to Braunschweig and give me fruit in summer still on the balcony :-)
Sadly in Germany we do not really celebrate. There is Ernte Dank in some churches, otherwise no attention to this very important subject.

Haven't commenced Christmas cards as yet, not many people seem to send them down here these days.
Most of us here do the same thing. I, in particular, usually paint cards that I send to colleagues and friends, and the traditional Christmas lunch, which coincides with my birthday, is the perfect opportunity for the whole family to get together.
