Sunday 21st June 2026 here in the UK, and many other countries, we celebrate Father's Day. It is usually held on the third Sunday of June and is a day to honour fathers and father figures, such as grandfathers and fathers-in-law. Last night for dessert my sister—in-law, with whom we are staying on Vancouver Island, made a decadent chocolate brownie cake. It wasn’t for Father’s Day, but it will do!
