ReplyDeleteI did know about our beaches and once made a plan to visit every single one as soon as I won lotto. It's never going to happen, but at least in Adelaide I can visit all 30 of our beaches simply by travelling the coast road, since each beach is part of the whole and named for the suburb it is part of. For example I walked one year from Brighton Beach at Brighton, to Glenelg Beach at Glenelg by walking along the sand and occasionally in the water, and passing through the beaches of Hove, North Brighton, Somerton Park and Glenelg South along the way. I have also regularly walked from Semaphore Beach to Largs Bay Beach (and back) just by going along the sand.
