Between the relentless heat, the choking wildfire smoke lingering across regions, and areas in the UK and beyond desperate for a proper soaking, everything feels like it's just begging the skies to open up. A good, steady, drenching rain would be an absolute blessing right now, not just for the parched earth and the local wildlife, but for clearing out the heavy, oppressive air.

ReplyDeleteEs ist auch hier sehr trocken. Aber noch besteht keine Waldbrandgefahr und das Trinkwasser wird nicht knapp. Ab morgen soll es regnen. Ich wünsche allen, dass sie diese heiße, trockene Zeit gut überstehen.

It is very dry here, too. However, there is no risk of forest fires yet, and drinking water supplies are not running low. Rain is forecast starting tomorrow. I hope everyone gets through this hot, dry spell safely.

I just heard on the news tonight that some fires are in the southern part of England I think they said, so sorry to hear of all the places that are having problems with fire, and flooding there has been a lot of that too. Praying for rain for all that need it!
