That looks so good. The flowers are so pretty too.
ReplyDeleteHi Jan, the flowers are gorgeous! This is a new thing to me....cinnamon cake. In the photo it reminds me of date squares, which I really like. I don't eat sweets often, and I am not even sure if date squares are considered sweet.
ReplyDeleteI do try to watch my sugar intake. I appreciate all you share here. A heartfelt thanks!
I love the flowers! The cake looks very good.

Many thanks for your lovely comment here and on other posts.
It was interesting to see you mention 'date squares' which I'd not come across.
I did find a recipe which I will link to below (I'm sure there are many others too). It uses a wonderful mix of ingredients and I'm sure they are tasty but they are higher in carbs than the cinnamon cake recipe I linked to in my post here.
Recipe for date squares with nutrition breakdown can be seen here:-

Have a good Friday and weekend too.

ReplyDeleteit's nice to see a recipe for a "sweet treat" that looks and sound delicious. the flowers are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great to make cake by using a mix of almond and coconut flour, due to the fact that they retain more of the grain's original nutrients and fiber compared to refined flours like white flour 🥐☕
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend ☀
