The low carb food pyramid.

Contrary to what some people will tell you, us low carbers do not base our food on saturated fat. We start with vegetables (non starchy) then add proteins, then healthy fats, nuts, seeds and low carb fruit. Check out the food pyramid below, it is the very opposite to the food pyramid that has led to the epidemics of obesity, heart disease and type two diabetes.

  1. I just love this 'tree' picture - well it does look a bit like a tree!

But seriously start with vegetables the more colours the better and just add meat/fish etc

As one of us low carbers say "You know it makes sense why fight it"

    We don't

  3. Thought I'd just comment on this food pyramid. Its great and so simple to use just follow the picture and work up. Good tasting food which has not been messed with can only be good for us all.
