Lowcarb Man Celebrates 85 Years of Living With Diabetes.

“When Bob Krause turned 90 last week, it was by virtue of an unflagging determination and a mentality of precision that kept his body humming after being diagnosed with diabetes as a boy.

A leading diabetes research center named the San Diego resident the first American known to live 85 years with the disease, a life that has paralleled — and benefited from — the evolution in treatment.”

  1. Hello, I didn't know where to ask this so thought this was as good as anywhere.
I would like to low carb. Unfortunately I do not like salad or veg and have a dairy intolerance. Can you suggest any ideas please?
PS, I have type 1 diabetes, if that makes any difference.
Thank you in advance for any help.

  2. We can get by without dairy, but I think you will have to try to eat some veg. Vegetables should be part of any diet, lowcarb or not. What's the alternative ? a pile of supplements, not a good idea. We base our meals on veg. all the colours of the rainbow then add protein and good fats.

Sorry not much help I know.
