Wine of the week.
Sainsbury's house Soave, £3.49. Nectar and won't break the bank. Look out for it, buy it, and try it.
You know it makes sense, why fight it. Ok, I am a poet, and know it !
My dear Chap I couldn’t agree more. I always try to consider the poor and down at heel that visit this humble blog. May I take this opportunity to thoroughly recommend the 300cl. 1982 Petrus, an absolute snip at £20,000 a bottle. Get some in for Christmas, it’s bound to go up !
Eddie when I first met you I was dragging you out of the gutter after your night on that cheap plonk, as for the Red Bull I afraid you were confused old fellow, I merely mentioned lowcarb gives you wings. In your inebriated state you obviously connected that with Red Bull.
The lowcarb team value your comments. Thank you for taking the time to contribute to our blog. Please note! negative comments and insults from anonymous idiots, with nothing to add to the debate will not be authorised. However, we welcome constructive criticism.
I hope you got some nectar points as well as enjoying your wine...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendation, will add it to my shopping list tomorrow.
You ain't no poet just an old lush, let's face it even wino's would turn their noses up at the cheap plonk your recommending.
ReplyDeleteJust enjoying a nice bottle of Carta Roja.
Cheers
Graham

1982 Petrus I give that to the servants, I prefer a nice bottle of champagne, a 1907 Heidsieck is my tipple.

Just want to say Tesco also do a soave and a pinot that is very nice and reasonably priced..
ReplyDeleteMel
PS you 2 make me laugh..
I'm with you here Mel they seem a pair of 'nutters' in the nicest possible way.

ReplyDeleteBefore you met me, you thought Red Bull was a great drink.
Eddie
Talking of Sainsbury's if any of you are in the mood to celebrate why not try their premier cru champagne. Tastes good and is very fairly priced.

ReplyDeleteAnyway tonight I'm mainly drinking Sneck Lifter!

It's a chardonnay for me, although I may just give the soave a try.
ReplyDeleteDoug
I agree with you Doug - you can't beat a nice glass of chilled chardonnay.
