The most prestigious award in the diabetic community, has been awarded to Eddie Mitchell. As chairman of the board of trustees, Eddie was barred from receiving the number one award for lowcarb promotion. However, the trustees feel no one has done more to promote the low carb cause. Ridiculed, banned and battle scarred, he has doggedly fought against dietary stupidity. In a press conference tonight, a clearly shaken Eddie, a highly emotional man, thanked his mentors, Fergus, Bernstein, Taubes, Wortman, Jimmy Moore, and Monty Beantipper. “Please be assured I only accept this award on behalf of the people that lead me from darkness into the light” Eddie has run a long campaign against Kenny boy, Sid Bonkers, Carbo and other imbeciles, that have promoted a diet that is clearly unsustainable, for anyone that gets out of an armchair, from one day to the next.
One of Eddie’s long term friends and compatriots, Graham, was heard to mutter from the back of the Albert Hall, “he only joined Kens forum to win a bet, he will do almost anything to win a bottle of Rioja”
