Sunday Weekly, “News of the CessPit” and the UK Diabetes Forum Scandal

 After a week of fervid media scrutiny the “News of the Carbo’s CessPit” admitted that its undercover reporter, Sheik Somebody ( OK wrong newspaper but you get the drift) and several of its regular contributors have been involved in a sting operation against a Scottish pipe fitting (what is pipe fitting: a cancerous jaw?) website in Aberdeen Scotland. The reporter noted that its claim that a moderator of a UK diabetics forum was attempting to direct young vulnerable diabetics to the pipe fitting website, although factually true, was nevertheless redundant, in that the attempt failed.

The defence lawyer of the young moderator pleaded for the jury’s understanding. He claimed that the young moderator was in awe of the pipe fitter’s experience and ‘cut and paste’ skills. However, he was cut short by the young moderator placing a request before the bench for a new representation ….. QC Bonkers
