Oh dear, maybe the opticians need an eye test.

For the non diabetics that read our blog, retinopathy is a serious eye condition effecting diabetics with poor control. It is complication of diabetes caused by medium to long term high blood glucose numbers. Left untreated retinopathy can lead to permanent blindness. Most diabetics in the UK have their eyes checked each year for early signs of retinopathy. Take my word for it, this test does not involve photographs of your nether regions. Eddie
