The Boss walking down the steps to the sea.
The beach huts, highly sort after and very expensive.
A nice level walk for us old folks.

...a wonderful spot to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI think it's too late to advise me to leave nothing but footprints...I've accumulated too much stuff.
ReplyDeleteBeach huts are one of those concepts that never seemed to cross The Pond, as they call it.
ReplyDeleteFun seeing the "Boss" enjoying her walk. I like that there was no trash. Hopefully the whole world does this - leave no footprints and keeps the oceans clean from plastics.
ReplyDeleteThe beach huts are quite impressive!
ReplyDeleteJust look at that blue sky. X
ReplyDeleteTake on photographs, leave nothing but footprints were phrases I heard often. I am glad that people are taking their litter home, and loved seeing The Boss.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, so lovely to see the sea. I always tell people to pick up their litter if I see them littering, and mostly they do! Valerie
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk!
ReplyDeleteA very nice and tranquil part of England.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Oh how absolutely lovely... enjoy yourselves. Beautiful photos :D)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous area!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place to take a walk. Beautiful weather, too. Then again, walking by the sea is one of my favorite things, no matter what the weather is like.
ReplyDeletehave a super weekend!
Gorgeous photos of a happy adventure, Eddie!
ReplyDeletePlease explain in detail "beach huts".
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of leaving nothing but footprints. Great pics of your walk (and the smiling Boss).
ReplyDeleteHello ! What a beautiful place to take a walk!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures of the seashore and such beautiful and impressive huts!
Thank you for sharing! Wishing you a lovely day and a happy weekend!
Dimi...
I am very happy to see that people are heeding the instructions to take litter home and dispose of it properly. Would that it were so everywhere. I fear that globally we are barely making a dent in the problem of garbage, however. Enjoy the rest of your stay.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The weather here is still great, too!
ReplyDeleteI´ve seen a documentary on those beach huts - much better than the typical roofed wicker beach chairs they have here at the coast!
To the boss :-)
I love Milford-on-Sea! We often visit and have actually sat and had lunch on that very wall!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing this...you have revived some wonderful memories! :))
Have a Fabulous Weekend!
Many thanks for your comments ...
ReplyDeleteLinda asked about Beach Huts.
A beach hut (also known as a beach cabin or bathing box) is a small, usually wooden and often brightly coloured, box above the high tide mark on popular bathing beaches. They are generally used as a shelter from the sun or wind, changing into and out of swimming costumes and for the safe storing of some personal belongings. Some beach huts incorporate simple facilities for preparing food and hot drinks by either bottled gas or occasionally mains electricity.
