Iced Coffee : Low Carb : Keto Style !

I think coffee lovers will like this! At 2g net carb per serving, this is such a tasty way to keep cool on hot summer days. It's incredibly easy to make and very refreshing. You could add some vanilla or cinnamon extract for an even more luxurious touch...

Ingredients
1 cup (225ml) coffee
ice cubes
¼ cup (60ml) heavy/double whipping cream

vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
can be seen here

Why not treat yourself to a low carb/keto biscuit:
Oreos Cookie Biscuit, these are Keto / Low Carb, and you can find the recipe details here

Lemon Cookies, another low carb recipe. These can be enjoyed with coffee or tea, see more details here

Chocolate Cookie / Biscuits there are three different low carb types to choose from, so you are spoilt for choice, see more details here

sit down and enjoy ...

A variety of recipe ideas are within this blog, not all may be suitable for you. If you may have any food allergies, or underlying health issues these must always be taken into account. If you are a diabetic and not sure how certain foods may affect your blood sugars, test is best, i.e. use your meter.

All the best Jan

  6. Although I have never tried iced coffee, I can't imagine I would care for it as I don't like hot coffee, but you never know, I like iced tea but not really hot tea.

  14. This sounds good and refreshing for a hot summer day. I'd be tempted to TRY it if offered to me by a loved one...just because. Lemonade is my go-to cold drink for hot days. Thanks for the refreshing idea.

    Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

  18. Yum! I had a hot coffee with cinnamon made on milk this morning...as I do every morning.

I might just have to have another as I plan to be awake until very late tonight watching the men's final at Wimbledon. (Well...I won't actually be at Wimbledon during the watching! I'll be watching from the warmth of my bed!) :)

  20. I drink a lot of regular coffee- but I don't drink a lot of iced coffee. It has been quite hot here recently- so I think I will give this a try for a cooler change of pace. :)
