Nina Simone - I put a spell on you

Well my friends, it's Saturday night again and music night over here. If I was nailed down, and had to pick my favourite female singer of all time, it would be Nina Simone. Nina had a troubled life, and was not the easiest artist to work with, how so many of the highly talented people fall in to that category. Anyway, peace to all. Eddie

Although I know there are good things to being a singer and or actor but I think most of them have lead a rough life. Just goes to show that money can't buy everything. Thanks for the comments on the blog. You always have such sweet things to say.

I used to be a fan of Simone...from around 1963. Unfortunately, a few months ago I watched a documentary about her...and I felt a lot of disappointment. I was was sorry I watched the doco. In saying that, though...she was a unique artist.

Sometimes it's best not to watch the documentaries! :) (I watched one about Bruce Springsteen a couple of months ago...and it annoyed the hell out of me...he did. And I'd always been a fan...also saw him live in concert...and it was a fabulous live concert)....but he disappointed me in the documentary...and then a week or so ago I saw him on "The Graham Norton Show" (I love that show, and Norton...he's a great host)...and Springsteen, again, was so disappointing...and his face is so tight from too much Botox and whatever it has no movement! Why do they do that to themselves???

And this response mine has turned into a novella! Sorry! :)
