Wildlife Photography ... these photographs will make you smile

From time to time we post something completely different ...
Like these photos from the 2019 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards

"Family disagreement" by Vlado Pirsa
"A couple of birds have family disagreements."

"Oh My" by Harry Walker
"Unlike most other marine mammals, sea otters have no blubber and rely on thick fur to keep warm.
As the ability of the fur to repel water depends on utmost cleanliness,
sea otters spend much of their time (while they are not sleeping or eating) grooming,
offering photographers an unlimited number of anthropomorphic opportunities."

"Squirrel Wishes" by Geert Weggen
"A red squirrel with dandelion seeds."

  8. Wonderful photo's, Jan. I too especially like the first one. It reminds me of someone who used to give me an earful. LOL

Thanks so much for checking on me. I really appreciate it. Hopefully, before too long I can stay home a while; do some posts and reading blogs. It seems like most of this year I've been at my granddaughter's house while she's had more surgery on the bad foot/ankle. I have a cell phone, of course, but it's difficult for me to read.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving with family and friends. Ours was pretty quiet this year, yet a perfect day.

    xoxo

  20. Of course, I like those Bee Eaters. The picture does remind me of watching on many occasions a colony of Bee Eaters in Menorca. They are very sociable, colony nesting birds where squabbles are frequent if neighbours get a little too close and unsociable. In many ways just like humans in defending a territory.
