Even in these times of Covid 19 when life for many is not easy,
I was determined to have a nice quiet Sunday, allowing myself just one distraction-
which will be a little later ...
a Skype session with family … thank goodness for the internet.
So after a wonderful breakfast
a slice of low carb bread, with avocado and poached eggs
followed by some nice easy 'chores'
I sat down with a cuppa and a book

The book sounds good. And also the Turkey Bake. We didn't do much today - some more yard clean up - a quick light dinner and our 3 games of rummicube afterwards. It was low key and I kind of like it that way. Hope you have a great week ahead.

A lovely relaxing day. It's so important to make time for ourselves, especially just now. This last week has proved stressful for various reasons so I'm determined to concentrate on putting my own needs first. Possibly starting with that delicious looking turkey dish. X

ReplyDeleteIt's nice to share how we are living through the pandemic. I think a lot of us have enjoyed meal time even more and trying new recipes. We hiked in the morning and then I watched some of Anne of Green Gables...that was nice for a Sunday! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteJan - good for you to resolve have a quiet Sunday, and then to stick with the plan. Other than attending an on-line church service, a Sunday is like many other days - laundry, Skype calls with family, emailing friends, and regular tasks. But I enjoy it all the same! I hope the rest of this week brings you peace and joy.
