Turkey is one of those tasty meats that is positively good for you. It has essential nutrients that are good for the whole family. It contains:
Protein, which nourishes every cell of your body. Protein helps build muscles and bones, so is essential for childhood development. But you may not be aware that it’s also needed to stop muscle wasting, so is crucial as you get older too.
B Vitamins, which help to unlock the energy from foods. Turkey breast is a source of vitamin B6, which helps keep your red blood cells healthy and reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Selenium, which helps keep your hair and nails healthy, it is also needed to keep your immunity topped up, and is also vital as a protection against damage to your cells and tissues.
Phosphorus, is needed for normal growth and development of bones, it also helps to release the energy from food.

Great recipes! I hope you were able to have a nice Christmas even with the change of plans.
Turkey breast is the only part of the turkey I eat! I love it.
...for me it's hard to have too much turkey.
Turkey is so nutritious!
I am very glad to hear that you and Eddie enjoyed Christmas.
Great recipes, thanks! Valerie
The Blanquette looks delicious! We did not plan a big meal because my older daughter has Covid and the other usual guests are staying safe at home. What a strange year!
I have NO idea where to get turkey other than as in cut and ready to go on a sandwich! And even that you have to find a shop for!
And it all looks and reads so yummy here!
Brilliant idea, dear Jan. I hope you both had a lovely and happy Christmas!

We always buy a bigger turkey than necessary purely for the leftovers. We all love leftovers.
Hello,
I do love all these leftover turkey ideas and recipes. They all look delicious.
I did make some turkey soup, we had so many leftovers. Take care, enjoy your day!
I'm not a big turkey fan. Once a year at Thanksgiving is more than enough for me.
I haven't bought a turkey in years and years. These all look SO good, too. I put rice in my stuffed peppers instead of turkey or beef, but the rest all look tempting.
we never eat turkey. in my younger years i just could not get it right, it was always too dry!! so even on thanksgiving, i always cooked chicken. now i go to my nieces (past years) and she fries the turkey and it is always delicious!!
some really nice recipes here, i would use chicken!!
Your photos are appetizing!
A hearty turkey soup is wonderful before reading a good book.
Happy New Year 🎉
We never have turkey leftover lol
Yum to all of these. Have a nice day.
We had ham for Christmas. I placed meal-sized servings in baggies and froze most of them. It is nice to have a bit of ham ready to serve for lunch.
Even though I'm not a big fan of turkey, I wish we'd had that instead of our tough roast beef that took forever just to cook to medium rare! All these recipes look good and I'll remember them next time we get a bird! Happy In-Between Week!
Oh I do enjoy some turkey soup. We rarely have any leftover turkey and my favorite part of the turkey is the dark meat. So much juicier. My husband loves to have a turkey sandwich but I prefer making turkey soup if I have any leftover. Great looking dishes there. Happy New Year to you and your family. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
I love turkey and it's never enough for me. :)
Those stuffed peppers look marvelous!
I love turkey. We just cooked a small turkey breast this year for the two of us and the leftovers are gone already. Once we can get together with family again, we're going to cook a big turkey with all the trimmings in celebration!
Belos pratos! Feliz 2021! bjs, chica

I wish I liked turkey, and I used to I did like it. I didn't love it, but I could eat it.
I hope you two have a Happy New Year, with good things to come.
Turkey is so delicious and I love the look of all your recipes. Yummy stuff!
I would like to taste turkey soup. The bowl is cute.
Yummy yummy!
Happy new year to all! May every wish of yours get fulfilled in the upcoming year!
The soup looks delicious. Happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.
Turkey once or twice a year is all we can take I'm afraid. It's just not as tasty as good old chicken. But we have put our left over turkey to good use by slicing the breat meat and freezing in batches for later in the year.
There's no such thing as too much turkey..Nothing better than turkey sandwiches...Yum

Thank you for all the great information and for all the great recipes! Big Hugs!
All wonderful recipes!
We don´t eat that much turkey in Sweden but too much food is the same problem everywhere. In such cases it is good to be able to put some in a freezer :) We need to be used to quick change of plans nowadays. :)
Happy New Year!
